The most reliable way to find your ring size is to measure a ring you already own that fits the intended finger well. Measure the internal diameter in millimetres, or take the ring to a jeweller for a quick, precise reading.

Alternatively, you can measure the circumference of your finger directly using a strip of paper or string, marking where it overlaps and measuring the length against a ruler. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and avoid measuring when cold.

If you are choosing a ring as a surprise, borrowing a similarly-fitting ring from the intended wearer — or asking a friend or family member for their honest estimate — is often the most practical approach. Our team is also glad to help you think it through before ordering.

Measure your wrist circumference with a soft tape measure, just below the wrist bone, and consider how you prefer a bracelet to sit:

• Close fit — sits snugly against the wrist
• Comfort fit — a small amount of movement
• Relaxed fit — a looser, more fluid drape

Chain length is a personal choice guided by neckline and how the piece is intended to sit — close to the collarbone, resting at the décolletage, or longer and more fluid. If you already own a necklace length you love, measuring it is the simplest reference point when choosing a new one.
